Festool KHC 18 rewrites cordless hammer rulebook

The heart of the matter is that wear-free brushless 18-volt EC-TEC motor and powerful 2.6 joule zero to 980 rpm pneumatic impact mechanism with a 4350 rpm stroke rate. Powered by Festool's 5 Ah capacity 18V battery, the 3.3 kg KHC 18 is also not just versatile and powerful. It's lightweight and wieldy, too.

The ultimate hammer-drilling, drilling and screwdriving machine, the Festool KHC 18 switches seamlessly between straight and impact drilling and chiselling functions in seconds to deliver ultimate versatility and perfect on site workflow. Its keyless and toolless Festool SDS-Plus 1.5 to 13 mm range chuck picks up and drops hammer drills, drill bits and chisels in seconds.

The SDS Plus Tool holder furthermore changes the entire chuck without tools. And handles both cylindrical and hex shank drills, bits and holders with consummate ease. 2.6 joules impact energy means rapid, effective and fuss-free drilling, excellent chiselling and efficient material removal. Never mind, fast simultaneous hammer boring 26 mm diameter holes into concrete, 30 mm in wood, and up to 30 mm into steel.

The Festool KHC 18 features an easy to adjust manual stop on its high-grip ergonomic handle to quickly and simply set your required drilling depth. That handle is backed by a vibration damper to eliminate impact energy and cushion your hands. And Festool's electronic KickbackStop prevents twisting your wrist. All to enhance work site safety and master this powerful Festool machine for optimal results.
