OLFA UNVEILS LATEST HEAVY-DUTY CUTTERS
The leader in cutting tools refines heavy-duty performance
Market-leading knife maker OLFA has introduced a new range of heavy-duty cutters in South Africa. The feature-packed OL and L-2 heavy-duty cutters, along with the CMP2 heavy-duty circle cutter, are now available nationwide.
Each cutter is designed with subtle differences to ensure optimal performance for specific tasks. The 18mm OLFA CTR OL heavy-duty cutter is tailored for carpet cutting, fitting, and tucking. It features a built-in carpet tucker and a multipurpose metal pick. Meanwhile, the 18mm OLFA CMP-2L-2 heavy-duty cutter is a versatile, general-purpose tool equipped with an anti-slip rubber grip insert for secure, confident cutting.
Both 18mm cutters come with tough, silver eight-segment snap-off blades housed in an extended stainless steel blade support channel. They also feature tool-free blade changing and safety wheel locks on their durable OLFA yellow ABS handles, each optimized for its specific function.
The OLFA CMP2 heavy-duty circle cutter is designed to cut circles ranging from 7 to 30 centimetres in diameter across various materials, including cardboard, plywood, and drywall. Like its counterparts, this cutter features a robust silver eight-segment snap-off blade, an easy-adjust dial, and a convenient ratchet mechanism to lock the blade at the desired depth.
